This morning I got a text message saying: "Guten Morgen. Ja, ist noch da. LG ... " After a few seconds I realized that I found an offer on willhaben.at for the analog camera Canon EOS 5 yesterday around midnight. For some time I wanted to try analog photography. I don't remember why I was actually searching for this sort of camera yesterday but I gave it a try and today I bought this old piece for 68€ later in the evening in Vienna. And exploring the (for me very new) world of analog photography made my day today. When our famous photographer Tibor Huszár died last week I felt quite sad that day. I saw only a pair of his photos, I do not know his work very well but still I felt somehow mournful. Hard to explain. I watched a documentary about him and the black&white analog photography came to my mind again. Hopefully I will find some time to buy film and try this camera.
